About Me

Hey, I’m Nia! I’m a psychosexual and relationship therapist, and a registered nurse. I’m based in London, UK - but I can offer sessions to people all over the world (with just a few exceptions!) via Zoom.

Therapeutically, I work with individuals and couples - and sometimes multiple partners too! - where the primary concern is a relational or a sexual function issue. However there does not necessarily need to be a ‘problem’ for someone to benefit from therapy - sessions can also provide an opportunity for regular self-care, and a safe space to explore your identity and your erotic template without fear of judgement or being misunderstood.

Some of the sexual function issues which I’m trained to help with include unreliable erections, premature or delayed ejaculation, painful intercourse, low or absent desire, difficulty reaching orgasm or compulsive sexual behaviour (also termed “sex addiction”). It is usually preferable to attend as a couple if you are partnered, but individual sessions are also possible.

People in relationships might also attend therapy when there has been a betrayal, loss, or major life event to work through. Therapy can also help to break down unhelpful habits and thought patterns and establish healthier ways to communicate, particularly when there are high levels of conflict and resentment has built up over time.

Intersectionality and Identity

Some of the communities I am proud to belong to include:

Neurodiverse

Disabled

Bisexual / queer

Polyamorous

Kink

I had an extremely working class (still have the accent to prove it!) and socioeconomically deprived upbringing, so this is also a huge part of my identity and shape my approach within sessions and to providing therapy in general.

I have a particular passion for improving access to psychosexual therapy for people experiencing similar hardship, and offer reduced fees for those who are in need. Please do reach out if you feel this is something you would benefit from!
